The Small Sums Annual Sponsorship Program offers corporations and businesses concerned about the growing challenge of homelessness the opportunity to add their voice and support to our critical mission. As a sponsoring partner, your company will make at least one annual contribution to underwrite a Small Sums’ initiative, program, and/or event.
Your decision to sponsor Small Sums enables us to eliminate employment barriers for those experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Additionally, your company’s support will send a strong message to our community that together, as partners, we can increase economic and housing stability for our clients while also providing a gift of hope.
Since 2005, Small Sums has helped thousands of individuals get back to work by providing the work gear, tools, training, and transportation they need to begin a new job. We have a longstanding commitment to assisting as many clients and potential clients as our human and financial resources will allow. Restoring Hope Breakfast – Thursday, May 18th, 8:00 am -9:00 am | Location: Town and Country Club, St. Paul
The Restoring Hope Breakfast is an inspiring, one-hour, morning celebration of community and giving. The event is free to attend and includes community building, personal testimony from a Small Sums client, and an opportunity to give. (This is a NEW event to replace our Celebration Luncheons.)
Small Sums Mixer – Monday, August 7th, 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm | Location: Minneapolis Cider House
The Small Sums Mixer is an opportunity to thank our donor community! The festivities include access to the pickleball courts, light appetizers, live music, cocktails, mocktails, and a short program highlighting the work of Small Sums.
Stories Matter Dinner & Auction – October Date & Location: TBD
This festive fundraiser includes a delicious sit-down dinner, robust silent and live auctions, client stories, and more!
Give to the Max Day – Thursday, November 16th | Location: Small Sums Office
Annually, on a Thursday in November, Minnesotans come together and give millions of dollars to nonprofits in every county across our state for Give to the Max Day. Small Sums is pleased to participate in the great Minnesota Give Together! Over the course of the day, Small Sums raises money through corporate matches, individual fundraisers, and an Open House hosted by the Small Sums Board of Directors at our St. Paul offices.
