Outreach Volunteer (on-going opportunity)
Outreach Volunteers accompany Small Sums staff to Job Fairs, Volunteer Fiars, and other outreach opportunities and events. Additionally, they assist staff with organizing donation drives and assembling care packs. To learn more, contact tosht@smallsums.org.
Community Day Volunteer- April 20, 2023 (one-time event)
Joins us for a celebration of community! Our mission at Small Sums is to outfit individuals experiencing housing instability with the work gear, tools, training, and transportation they need to start a new job.
The goal of Community Day is to provide client with the additional tools they need to elevate their wages and increase access to long-term economic and housing stability.
The event runs from 2:00 - 7:00 pm, and we have two volunteer shifts: 2:00 - 4:30 and 4:30 - 7:00 pm. Volunteers are needed to help with resume building, mock interviews, and signing clients up for LinkedIn using their new, professional headshots.
