Sardar came to Small Sums last summer, anxious to start as a greeter at M&M. We were thrilled to outfit him with everything he needed for his new position! At 23, Sardar is a client in our Young & Hopeful program. While in college, he realized he was going down the wrong path and decided to start over again and find a new crowd. Due to ongoing conflicts with his family, he is no longer stably housed and has been living in and out of emergency shelters. When Sardar called in January, excited about his new job as a security officer, we were happy to assist again. Despite setbacks, Sadar is thrilled to work more hours and is saving up for his own apartment. 

We provided Sardar with an unlimited 31-day bus pass, outfitted him with steel-toe boots, work pants,  Bombas t-shirts, and socks, and gave him a care pack. Sardar is a tall guy and needed 36-length pants. We special ordered him two pairs because we don’t keep this size in stock. He was pleased with the fit!
